Our Opinion A veritable intermediates playground, La Plagne also offers extensive beginner slopes and under-rated black runs and off-piste. The different levels and villages are well connected to give a vast area of piste with some excellent ?boulevard? skiing to really show off your technique! Après Ski Each village has its own unique character with a selection of bars, restaurants and the odd nightclub. Tex Mex and Saloon in Belle Plagne and Playa in Plagne Centre are recommended. Price Check World Snowboard Guide WSG rates La Plagne as a good no nonsense all round snowboard resort ideally suited to carvers. The terrain is excellent for beginners, with lots of easy and intermediate runs. Carvers who want to go fast and pose on the wide open runs, will find this place hard to beat, it really is snow carving territory on runs such as Roche de Mio.
