Our Opinion Valmorel has something for everyone in both skiing and resort terms. There is plenty of challenging terrain and under-utilised off-piste around. In the resort, facilities and tuition for all ages, especially families, are excellent. Après Ski The main pedestrianised street is lined with restaurants and bars, lively venues include the Café de la Gare, Perce Neige, the Clover, Jimbolos & La Cordée. It is well planned and set out with slopes that are ideal for simple piste riding and it is a perfect resort for edging a board over at speed.
