The area offers some of the best, wide-open, above-the-tree-line skiing anywhere, and the combined Tri-Area lift pass offers access to Sunshine and Mount Norquay ski areas nearby. Immaculately groomed slopes, a backdrop of the Rockies and the lake all enhance the experience of skiing here. Lake Louise village itself is small but has a selection of restaurants and plenty of atmosphere! Three separate mountain faces offer 11 square miles of skiing, including one 5 mile cruise down Whitehorn Mountain. Due to the resort's policy of ensuring that every lift has an easy way down, novices can join the more experienced skiers on the slopes.

Lake Louise has gentle slopes for beginners and novices, with instructors that inspire confidence! The upper runs are an intermediate paradise, and experts are catered for with bumps, steeps and back bowls. Everyone's favourite is the alluring West Bowl! And you never know what wild life you may run into!
