At 2,300m, Val Thorens is the highest resort in the French Alps and the Three Valleys, boasting an excellent snow record and extensive ski network. This modern, purpose-built resort is a fine choice for all keen skiers; the main square and its sunny restaurants are right on the piste! Lifts take you up to Péclet and the 3195m Cime de Caron. Further down the Belleville Valley lies the neighbouring, purpose-built, resort of Les Menuires and the old village of St Martin and with a Three Valleys ski pass you can enjoy a fantastic network of runs shown below.

    World Snowboard Guide
    Val Thorens has something for everyone. It offers the chance to leap out of the nest, strap on the board and land in a lift line ready to be dragged up to the wide open piste. Freeriding intermediates will love it here with some major wide runs to play on. Freestylers have a dedicated fun park near the Funitel with a boarder cross circuit and halfpipe.
