Banff offers spectacular scenery and a very reliable snow record. Each of the three ski areas is accessible by the ski bus and has their own character! Norquay is known for excellent beginner facilities and is just 15 minutes drive from Banff and Sunshine has excellent intermediate cruising to keep you occupied for days. Lake Louise is the largest of the ski areas and is easily reached.

In Banff life is relaxed with lots of bars - many have live music. At Lake Louise evenings are low key and mainly centred around the hotels.

    Lake Louise has slopes suitable for all levels and styles of rider, with the back bowls and long tree lined powder runs. Sunshine is pleasing with excellent terrain, loads of trees and plenty of virgin powder. Freesylers have it good with a cool half pipe and a sizeable terrain park at Sunshine a superb fun park 'The Jungle' at Lake Louise. Beginners are well catered for at both Lake Louise and Sunshine.
